WWS Insider Africa Showcase – Programme Outline

 

DAY 1 — Registration, Testing & Games

•⁠  ⁠Debrief & Registration  

  Athlete check‑in, verification, kit distribution, and programme briefing.  

•⁠  ⁠Athletic Ability Testing & Measurements  

  Speed, agility, explosiveness, strength, flexibility, height, wingspan, and body metrics.  

•⁠  ⁠Showcase Games  

  Short-format games to establish baseline performance and competitive readiness.

DAY 2 — Drills & Competitive Games

•⁠  ⁠Technical Drills  

  Position‑specific skill work, ball‑handling, shooting, passing, defensive footwork.  

•⁠  ⁠Showcase Games  

  Full‑court games for scouting evaluation and performance tracking.

 

DAY 3 — Advanced Drills & Final Games

•⁠  ⁠High‑Performance Drills  

  Advanced skill execution, decision‑making, and situational play.  

•⁠  ⁠Final Showcase Games  

  Final competitive games used for selection, ranking, and pathway recommendations.

Africa’s Premier Youth Basketball Identification Platform

 

Ages 14–21

 

• Uganda, Kampala Trials - June 26 - 29

• South Africa, Durban Trials - July 1 - 3

• WWS Insider Exposure Africa Showcase (Invite Only) - July 10 - 12

 

The WWS Insider Exposure – Africa Showcase is the continent’s most credible pathway for young basketball athletes seeking international opportunities. Powered by World Wide Scholarships (WWS) and the U.S.‑based Insider Exposure, the event brings NCAA‑aligned scouting, global recruitment access, and elite evaluation standards directly to Africa.

 

Athletes begin at the Uganda Trials or South Africa Trials.  

Only the top performers earn a place at the Kenya Showcase – Invite Only, where they compete in front of international coaches and decision‑makers.

 

WWS is Africa’s only NCAA‑approved scouting and recruiting service, offering verified pathways into scholarships, global recruitment, and international placement.
